Terms & Conditions
Effective date: July 28, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of hempshop.io, including purchases made through the site. The site is operated by Bold Ubiquitous Digital LTD., doing business as hempshop (“hempshop,” “we,” “us” or “our”).
By accessing the site, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to the policies linked here. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the site or place an order. We may request age, identity, billing or shipping information when reasonably necessary to process an order, prevent fraud or comply with applicable requirements.
You may use the site only for lawful personal purposes. You may not purchase products for resale unless we have agreed to that arrangement in writing.
2. Location-specific responsibilities
Product availability, shipping eligibility, possession and permitted use can vary by location. You are responsible for confirming the rules that apply at the shipping destination and wherever you intend to possess or use a product.
We may limit availability, decline or cancel an order, or request additional information when we believe an order cannot lawfully or reliably be fulfilled. A product appearing on the site does not guarantee that it can be shipped to every address.
3. Product information
We try to present accurate product names, descriptions, images, compatibility information, prices and availability. Packaging, color and other non-material details may change, and information supplied by a manufacturer, publisher or breeder may be updated.
Check dimensions, formats and compatibility before ordering accessories or replacement parts. Seed descriptions identify the format and other information supplied for that product, but hempshop does not guarantee a particular result. Books and site content are offered for general informational purposes and are not medical, legal or agricultural advice.
4. Orders and acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the items in your cart. An automated confirmation means we received the order; it does not require us to accept or ship it. We accept an order when we confirm shipment or otherwise expressly confirm acceptance.
We may decline or cancel an order before shipment because of availability, pricing or listing errors, suspected fraud, payment issues, address problems, shipping restrictions or other fulfillment concerns. If we cancel an order after payment has been captured, we will issue the appropriate refund to the original payment method.
Existing accepted orders continue through the usual fulfillment and support process even if a product later becomes unavailable for new orders.
5. Prices, taxes and payment
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable tax, shipping and other charges are shown during checkout. We may correct an obvious pricing or listing error before accepting an order.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Your use of a payment method is also subject to the issuer’s and payment provider’s terms. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method and billing information submitted with the order.
6. Shipping and delivery
We currently ship to eligible addresses within the United States. Available methods and charges are shown during checkout. Processing and transit times are estimates unless we expressly state otherwise.
Orders may ship in more than one package, and some shipments may require a signature. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and for monitoring tracking information after shipment.
The current Shipping Policy provides additional details and is incorporated into these Terms. If an order is delayed, unavailable or cannot be shipped, we will handle the order as required by applicable law and our published policies.
7. Returns, refunds and damaged items
The current Returns & Refunds Policy explains return eligibility, timing, damaged-item reports, non-refundable charges and the return process. That policy is incorporated into these Terms.
Do not send a return without first contacting us and receiving return instructions. Nothing in these Terms limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account. Provide accurate, current information and notify us if you believe an account or payment method has been used without authorization.
We may suspend or close an account when reasonably necessary to protect customers, the site or our business; investigate misuse; or comply with applicable requirements.
9. Email communications
We may send transactional email about an account, order, payment, shipment, return or customer-service request. If you separately subscribe to marketing email, we may also send new arrivals, useful guides and occasional offers.
Marketing email is optional and is not required to shop. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing message. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent transactional messages about an active account or order. We do not currently offer browser push or SMS marketing subscriptions.
Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Acceptable use
You may not:
- use the site for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity;
- interfere with the site, its security or another person’s use of it;
- attempt to access accounts, systems or data without authorization;
- introduce malicious code or use automated tools in a way that unreasonably burdens the site;
- scrape, copy, republish or exploit site content except as allowed by law or our written permission;
- misrepresent your identity, age, location, authority or payment information; or
- use the site to infringe another person’s intellectual-property, privacy or other rights.
11. Intellectual property
The site and its original text, graphics, logos, photographs, software and other content are owned by hempshop or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Product names, book titles, publisher materials and third-party marks belong to their respective owners.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access and use the site for personal, non-commercial shopping and informational purposes. No other right or license is granted.
12. Third-party services and links
The site relies on third parties for services such as payments, hosting, analytics, email, fraud prevention and shipping. Their services may be governed by separate terms and privacy notices.
Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability or practices.
13. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that the site will always be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that every description or image will remain current at all times.
Any express warranty supplied with a product is provided by the identified manufacturer or other warrantor under its own terms. We disclaim implied warranties only to the extent the law permits. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, hempshop and its officers, employees, affiliates and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from the site or an order.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from a product or order will not exceed the amount you paid to hempshop for the product or order giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where they are prohibited or to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
15. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold hempshop harmless from third-party claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the site, your material violation of these Terms or your infringement of another person’s rights.
16. Governing law and disputes
The User Agreement and the relationship between you and Company shall be governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You and Company agree to submit to binding arbitration for any dispute arising out of your relationship with hempshop and that such arbitration will take place in San Francisco, California.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the store, our practices or applicable requirements change. The revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Changes apply prospectively unless the revised Terms or applicable law states otherwise.
18. Severability and no waiver
If a provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
19. Contact
For questions about an order or these Terms, use the hempshop contact page or email [email protected].
